Don`t have XP, but maybe you can load the IE8 at least when hitting the Windows key + R, pst this C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe , then knock on Enter. Maybe someone can go to start, all programs, Outlook Express, shift + F10, properties and copy and paste the path without quotes into an email for you?
Otherwise you may be able to get back OE and IE in control panel, remove programs, add\remove Windows programs. After leaving I apparently removed outlook express as well as IE 8icon's from my desktop. Well I thought I would go into programs and pop the shortcuts back to the desktop. However I can not locate either of the programs in the windows program folder. What have I done and where might I find these 2 programs. Nothing in the recycle ben.
