I also have noticed an increase in loss of speech events. With me it is
almost always Thunderbird or firefox related and there seems to be no
consistency.
I will be reading emails and WE will not like one and just shuts up.
Usually turning tbird off and on does not help as WE stops talking for
everything running. I resort to a system reboot and all comes back as
normal.
I have a feeling that tbird and firefox have done some things that GW is
trying to fix and this is part of my problem. I went back to tbird3.0.6
and have not updated ff yet.
