As for many Microsoft solutions there are a few different paths you can take. I
will let you know what I like to do, and others will as well.

Instead of pressing the enter key to open the message, I like to press the
context menu key followed by the letter H then pressing the enter key on the
attachment I want to open. Then I am asked if I want to open or save. There is
a checkbox to never ask the question again, but I prefer to leave this
unchecked, since there are times I want to save instead of open.

Subject: Opening Attachments In Outlook 2010 using Window-eyes 7.2

Hi, all. I am having trouble opening attachments in Outlook 2010 using
Window-eyes 7.2. Here are the steps I am trying.

Let's say I have a message with an attachment. I find it in the inbox and
have it highlighted. I press enter to open the message. I press alt-7 and
hear yes, attachment from so-and-so. I press enter and hear list box and
message and press enter. Nothing happens. I just hear the word message
each time I press enter. How do I open an attachment in Outlook 2010 using
Window-eyes 7.2. In Outlook 2007 I would press the context menu key on the
highlighted message with an attachment and down arrow to open and press
enter. That no longer works. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Mike M.
