Hi all. I thought I would put my two cents on this list concerning the 7.2 refresh.
Several list members have commented that because the upgrade page tells us that we have the latest version of Window-eyes installed that there is no new upgrade. That is indeed correct. However, I think that it should be pointed out that you can upgrade Window-eyes version x, one time or a hundred, hypothetically. It is too easy for us to assume things in this situation. Many advertisements tell us to go to our web site at www.whatever.com. There are some of us out there (and we know them) who do not have a computer. I hope that in the future if and when minor changes are made in Window-eyes that GW Micro users are better informed so as not to cause some of the confusion that has occurred. Again, please remember that because the Window-eyes upgrade page tells us that we already have the latest version of Window-eyes installed, does not mean that you can't access the upgrade. Had it not been for Steve Pattison's post regarding the update, I would have never known about it. I don't check the GW Micro blog very often because nothing changes all that much. This is not to say that GW Micro is lax, far from it. I guess that when there is nothing to report we don't hear anything, smile. Mike M.
