I have the refreshed 7.2 and 64 bit Win7 home edition. I am having no
trouble with IE8. My problem is with Winamp. Almost every time I click
on a file in Windows Explorer, WE crashes. If possible, I can click on
the error button and restart WE, but more likely, I have to close out
one program at a time and try to restart WE. With no speech, it is
difficult to know just which program was the one which freed up the
computer. As a rule, I keep Thunderbird open all of the time, but it
has never crashed before.

Hi Keith,
I have a 32 bit machine.
I had XP pro before I upgraded to Windows 7.

It happens over here sometimes, but I don't lose all Window-Eyes
speech. So I'm unsure of what your problem is.
Was that also happening under anything else other than Windows Seven
Sixty Four?
Considered running the tests on a 32-bit system to duplicate the issue
if possible?
Also, try testing under Windows XP.
If you need an XP machine to test it on, try the XP Mode feature of
Windows Seven, or something like VirtualBox.

Windows

Hi Don,
Do you have all the updates for I. E. 8?

Not sure what is going on for sure but I am running the refresh
version
of WE 7.2 on a Windows 7 64 bit machine and IE 8.
Seem to be getting the dialog box for IE not responding and must be
closed more often now. When this happens WE stops speaking until I
manage without speech to close IE 8. This problem seems to happen
more
often on sites as my banking web page.
