Hi Paul,
You need to turn UAC back on. Also make sure you are using the
administrator account.
I would put your UAC at 1 instead of 0.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Problem Accessing lists in Win7 Windows Explorer
Many thanks to everyone who responded to the problem that I am having
accessing a long list of files and folders in Win7, windows explorer.
Those of you who attributed my inability to arrow down through a long list
of files and folders to the facts that Explorer is configured to a grid or
icon view are probably correct. When I can't arrow down further in the
list I can usually land on another item in the list by shift tabbing.
When I go into the view menu of explorer to make changes and I hit enter
on List or Details I am returned to the list but the view in explorer does
not reflect any change. If I go back into the View Menu, List or detail
appear to be selected but nothing seems to have changed on the screen.
Could the fact that I have UAC turned off effect my ability to make
changes in the file and folder view?
Life was simpler in the X P Days.
Thanks for listening:
Paul Franklin
