From what I've read, I was under the impression that the built in speech works as well with the touchscreen as with the keypad. Perhaps I misread, but I was pretty sure that this is what was said in several articles I read. I wish I had kept bookmarks on them. The big issue, as I understood it, is that many major functions such as calendar and email don't work and one has to install third party apps that do work with speech.
