Oops, sorry.

Your right, I don't know how to add an address that way. Hopefully someone on
this list can be more helpful. *smile*

  Hi Tracy,
Sorry, but you are not understanding what my question is exactly.
Previously, whenever I wanted to add an email address to my address book, I
had to press the inser b. At that point, I would only have to press the ctrl-b
and it would give me a reading like this:
"First name, Middle name, Last name." Then I would fill in the information
and I would tab over to where it told me to put email address I needed. I
could also add a title if I needed it.
Now, however, whenever I press ctrl-shift b after getting past the bypass
information, all I get is this:
  "Please add a name."
What am I doing wrong? I might be missing something.
  Thank you.
  Dave

There are a couple ways to do this.

If someone sends you an address in a email msg, then when you are on the
new email contact, hit your context key or shift-f10. That should bring up a
menu that has an option add to addressbook. From there you fill out the needed
information.

The other way, say you have coppied the new email address, then alt-f for
file, new pull down, contact. That'll open up the fields to fill out and the
field to paste the email address.

    Hope that helps,
    Traci
