Hi:

You should be ok with 7.1. I believe it will work with Windows 7. Yes. It will. I just remembered. I used my Window-Eyes 7.1 disk to install and it did work. There were some initial problems getting the talking install going. You may need sighted assistance or I think you can use Narrator or NVDA if the talking install does not work. I did have a problem on my Dell laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium with the talking install. I had to use narrator to install without speech. I might try it again, but, I don't want to reformat right now to try it.

Anyway, your CD has the right files, so it should work on 32-bit or 64-bit Windows.

Hope this helps.

Subject: getting the copy of window eyes that will work on a windows 7 64 bit machine

Hi I will be upgrading my computer sometime in the future.
Now I will need a copy of the latest window eyes on CD that will run on either a windows 7 32 or 64 bit operator system machine.
So how much will this cost me to get this disk?
I am A current window eyes user and the last disk that I have gotten was for version 7.0 or 7.1
So any and all assistance will be a big help to me on this.
So thank you all ahead of time for any assistance that I may get with this.
