Barbara,

In addition to George's and Heidi's tips, you can simply type a person's
name in the "to" field of your email (e.g. type "john smith"); if you have a
john smith in your contacts, outlook will lookup and use his email address.
if you don't, outlook will not send the email, it will stop and ask you what
to do. if you have more than one email address for him, or if you only type
"john" and you have more than one "john" in your contacts, outlook will stop
and ask you which one you meant. it will do all this when you actually try
to send the email. if you want it to do it right away, you can press alt-k,
which causes it to try and evaluate your addresses right then.

hth,

Chip

Subject: Outlook 2007

Hello Everyone,

I have recently installed Outlook 2007 on a Windows 7 laptop. I have read
Section 23 in the WE manual. I am not clear on how to select and then send
a email message from my contact list. I have played around a bit without
success on sending a message. Feedback welcome.
