Hi,
Here's the deal.
If I am using Outlook 2007 for example, and I save an email file to a text, I
can't do anything with it.
It opens up in note pad.
As far as I know, Outlook will not open a .txt file, so to do anything with
existing .eml files, I need a secondary e-mail program right now.
Thinking of eventually going to Office 2010, and using Outlook exclusively, but
if I still need a secondary e-mail client to handle my e-mail files, which I
some times have to interact with later on, I might as well stay with what I
have; or use LIve Mail like I am doing at present.
It's all going to depend how the new version works out with we 8.0 when it
comes out.
I can save Outlook mail files as .txt, but what's the point of that? I tried
changing the file extention to .msg, but Outlook wouldn't open it. I got the
giant bong.
That's my quandry.
