I want to publicly thank you for your help. Windoweyes is behaving for me
the way it did before windows xp, now that i am running windows 7. It
crashes when I go to quickly with the up or down arrows and I can't bring it
back up no matter what I do, until now.
In xp windoweyes would stop speaking but would come back most of the time.
now it doesn't at all with great frequency. However, the batch file below
solves that problem. thanks very much again.

You need to run a batch file as administrator -- I use the following
one:
@echo off
taskkill /im wineyes.exe /f

I can't always end windoweyes with instert f4 or thru the task manager or
by going thru the control panel of windoweyes. Any suggestions on what
to do or what program to get to end the windoweyes task.
I am running windows 7 64 bit and kill windoweyes doesn't work.
thanks
