YOU can't expect cadilac performance
from a go cart computer.
Net-books, are not known for great speedy performance, and the
numbers are deceiving and lots of people get sucked in because they think, wow,
1.8 ghz, that's fast enough, but they don't know enough to consider
all the sub-systems,
ram and bus speed, instruction sets, cache, etc.
So that's probably part of it,
you get what you pay for, and we likes a lot of ram, if you got lots
of other stuff installed or in memory, we might be swapping out in
ram on you, also check things like hybernation, and sleep mode,
suspend, etc per your operating system and particular net-beast.
