Are you really pressing alt-4, or did you mean alt-f4? it should not be alt-4; so either alt-f4, or escape, should close the message window. which version of outlook are you using? thanks. Chip

I'm having an issue with Microsoft Outlook and wonder if anyone can tell me which option to change and where. Here's the info: I have Windows XP, and use WE. I have had some major repairs to my computer and have gotten everything installed again. Anyway, let's say I get a message from Mr. Dough. I need to read the whole thing so I press enter on it. After I read it, I want to respond later with no actual date in mind. When I press Alt-4 to exit out, the message goes to the deleted items folder instead of staying in the in-box. Any thoughts? Thanks! a Martha Loescher, Secretary Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft 2045 Morse Rd Bldg a-3 Columbus OH 43229 Phone: 614-265-6774 Email: [email protected] If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
