I don't use media center, but here is my other suggestion. *smile*

Sometimes, I've been in a program and my laptop mouse keys won't work. I
then...
While still in the program, I hit control-backslash to bring up win-eyes.
Control-k for keyboard, k for keyboard layout, then l for laptop. I let
win-eyes go through the motions of setting up the laptop keyboard layout again.
For some reason, this seems to make the program recognize the layout then.

This has worked for me with winamp, but not sure how it would work for media
center.

I need to further clarify my current issue. I am working with Media Center.
I do not see any specific set file for this program. I did go into the WE
hotkey menu for the mouse and I can see what key has been assigned. When I
attempt to use these, I get a ding which means not a working hotkey. I need to
get to the + key which controls the SAP function. If there is another way to
accomplish this same task, that works for me as well.

Hi, I almost replied with the answer, but I forgot, I tweaked my layout a
bit. *smile*

Here is the url that'll tell you all the laptop keys.
    https://www.gwmicro.com/Window-Eyes/Manual/HTML/index.html?appendix_a_1.htm

There is also the insert-1 key for key describer.

    Good luck,

      Hello Everyone,

I am not sure why I cannot figure this out, but I am having some problems
finding the right hotkeys for laptop keyboard layout. I use control-shift u
and other similar keys for mouse movement. It looks like alt- turns the mouse
and WE as a toggle. What is the hotkey for routing the mouse to the carot and
vice versa. I have tried some keys but it does not seem to work.

I am trying to find the plus to select SAP in Media Center. I cannot get
to this using either a tab or an arrow. I have Windows 7 and WE 7.2.

      Thanks for any help.
