You can slexct a arange of files by selecting the first one then holding
shift, select the last one. You also can select more that are not in order
by holding control and clicking on the desired files. If you should click
on a file without holding down either shift or control, you lose all the
selections made so far.

So I did understand it correctly, but what you said to do is exactly what I
don't want to do. I want to go through a list of files and choose the ones I
want and then take them to the new location. The thing is that they are not

This script strictly works with text files.
Now, if you want to copy any number of files in the same directory,
You could select as many files in a row with shift and the down arrow key,
and copy these to the clipboard with control-c.
Or, to select all files in a folder, press control-a for select all and then
control-c to copy to the clipboard.
Then move to the new location and press control-v to paste.
I don't know if this is exactly what you wanted, but it works in these
cases.

I was reading this while checking my e-mail and I had a question. This
script only does text files from what I can understand of it right? Now Is
there a script that will allow me to copy music or video files on to the
clipboard just like how this script does the text files? I was wondering
because I have movies and music that I transfer to my relatives computer's
and sometimes they already have some of the music or videos but I have new
ones and I do not want to copy one by one. If I can copy them to the
clipboard and then copy them to there computer all at once it would make it
go faster. Please let me know what is out there to help me achieve this,

I just posted version 1.3 of my Text To Clip script to script central.
A major revision creates a folder for all of your text files and
automatically places the files in a listbox.
The revised help text follows.
Jeff Weiss
Press Alt-Windows-T to select a text file and paste it into your work or
copy its contents to the clipboard.
You can also append a file or several files to the clipboard.
There are also options to view the contents of the clipboard,
to get info about text on the clipboard, and to clear the clipboard.
If you just want to select 1 file, choose paste or copy,
and the script will paste or copy your file and exit.
If you want to append one or more files to the current contents of the
clipboard, use append and close when you are finished.
There are two sample files included for demonstration purposes.
Once you provide your own text files,
the two sample files TextToClip1.txt and TextToClip2.txt can be deleted.
All of the text files that you want included in the list
must be in a subfolder of the folder where the TextToClip script resides.
The subfolder which is created is called "TextToClip"
If you have a previous version of TextToClip, all of the text files listed
in
TextToClipList.txt will, automatically, be copied to the new TextToClip
folder.
There is no longer a need to create a list file. Simply place any text
files
in the TextToClip folder. When you press the TextToClip hotkey, the new
files will be in
your list of files which can be pasted, copied, or appended to the
clipboard.
I hope you find the TextToClip utility useful
for pasting chunks of text that you need to use over and over again in your
