Howdy you all!
When wineyes starts up, it has keyboard echo and always defaults to
my bose usb sound card, even though my sb-live is selected to be the
card used for the dec access 32 wineyes synthesizer.
The problem is that when the computer goes in to stand by, or is
turned off, the bose goes in to mute (power save mode) and requires
you to touch the center of the volume control to bring it back to
life, but there is no indication that this happens, therefore you can
be at the log on screen, and have no idea you are there.
After you do log on though, wineyes then goes to the sb-live without fail.
Is there anyway to fix this so that is always goes to the sb-live,
and can I modify it so that the darn stars are not spoken?
If I am at the log on screen and I do the ctrl+backslash, I get to
the wineyes screen, but everything under the alt menu is disabled.
