Hi Vicky
I am still determined to beat you with a question some time!
Thanks!
As a purchaser of a Voice Sense, not through GW, I am so impressed at the courtesy, professionalism and preparedness to go well beyond the call of duty by GW staff and the expertise and patience shown and shared by members on lists like these of GW has been a privilege to experience and a real "eye opener"! Pun intended!
Peter

Subject: Re: subscribing to Hims with VS running 5,51

Hi Peter and All,

You know, I haven't yet decided as to whether or not I'll keep my Hims products; after all, we're talking about a good chunk of the GW catalog here. And, even though we are just recently finding out about this change, I guess due to business reasons, sure hope Hims gave GW a little more notice and time to regroup.

But, be that as it may, I did say on other lists that I wouldn't make a quick decision and would give Hims a chance, although I guess I wouldn't expect much of an explanation from them. Thus, as with you, even though I do have a PC, I did try filling out their form using my VS with the 5.51.

I got the same message as with you the first time. Then, I did go back and enter on the check email link, and was then given the message that my email address was okay to use and I could proceed with the rest of the form. So, I did and pressed the submit button and got the message that I was subscribed and an okay button. But, every time I pressed that okay button to make the message go away, I kept getting the message that I was subscribed and that okay button, so I just finally closed the browser on the VS.

I don't recall seeing a form quite like that before. And, although I didn't get a confirming email about being subscribed, or how to unsubscribe for that matter, I'm assuming I did get subscribed to their announcement list okay.

I tried subscribing with the VS running 5,51.
I entered my name, email address, country and favourite product.
Then I went to enter on the link "sign up". and got the message
"please click on the check email address button".
Nothing seems to happen from here!
Peter
