Nice suggestion. However, some lists don't let you put the list address in the bcc field.
I moderate one that won't let such a message go through without moderator approval. The reason is something about implicit domain or address. I don't approve these type of messages and suggest that the sender put the list address in the to or cc field in order for the message to go through. Giving a warning that the message is being cross-posted is the best thing to do and is something I do when cross-posting something. That way people know about this so they don't use reply to all. Be carefulhow many lists you do it to though as there may be a limit to how many you can do this to at one time. Hope this helps.
