I should consider viper solution once my NOD32 expired next year.
Thanks for the feedback.

Subject: Re: What About Viper?

Amazing how this thread only has 2 messages about Vipre which quickly
morphed into Nod32. So I wonder, how is this helping Bob and anyone else
interested in Vipre?

Anyway, for those still reading, Vipre is very accessible. There are a
few things you have to do extra in terms of customization such as if you
use the premier package, it contains a firewall, this firewall has to be
customized for some other programs to work. Example, if you use Qwitter
for Twitter, you have to add twitter.com to the Vipre firewall allow
list. Also, sometimes google search results, especially the sponsored
links, will be blocked. To me this is not necessarily a bad thing. Aaron
Smith, BTW, cannot stand Vipre.

Anyway, if you use the firewall in automatic mode, there is little you
have to do. Vipre will even tell you if your ip address changes. This is
useful I think, but maybe I'm the only one who thinks so. The anti-virus
portion of Vipre is great. So far it's worked flawlessly, it does scans
at night like a good properly behaved snake, and if I use my pc while
it's scanning, it does not slow it down. The windows for customization
and configuration are easy to navigate and completely Window-Eyes
friendly I think. I went ahead and got the home site license and don't
regret it.

Many thanks.
