Juan,
From a performance standpoint, it doesn't matter. However, most of the
Window-Eyes graphic dictionaries were designed assuming a resolution of
1024x768 under a 32-bit color depth.

Steve

okay I will do that, and what about the colors? I have two choices, 16
bit or 32 bit? or does they not matter?

Juan,
These days, I would suggest at least 1024x768. The greater the
resolution, the more content will fit on your screen.

Steve

Juan,
You can use whatever resolution and/or color depth you like. Just know
that some of the labeled graphics probably won't speak since they will
appear differently to Window-Eyes. Programs that put a lot of info on
the screen may not display correctly either if your resolution is too
low.

Steve

Hi I was messing around with windows vista's display settings and I
set
the resolution to 800x600 and I also set my colors to 16 bit. does
this
have any effect to window-eyes? Does window-eyes need any particular
resolution or color set to run correctly on my computer? So far I
have
not seen any problems but I don't want to run into them later. any
info
would be appreciated!
