I also have this problem when composing or editing a message. The current line will not read and WE acts like the line is blank.

A solution is to refresh with insert back slash or to move the mouse pointer to the offending line and left click it.

It is strange that WE only seems to loose focus for that line and not the entire message.

Using latest TBird, WE 7.2 and problem has occured under both WXP and W7 HP 32 bit.

Just put the latest thunderbird on my new computer, using window-eyes

I am having an issue in the composition window where if I arrow up and
down to review what I have written, parts of the message are not being
read.

Arrowing left and right at this point gives the windows ding sound.

The text is all there because if I send myself the message it is all there.

Do I need to change any settings to fix this? I am sending plain text
messages as html is not welcomed by some of the people I mail.

Thanks
