Hi. Upon booting my computers, a Dell XPS-410 desktop, and a Dell XPS-M1530 laptop, both running Windows 7 Home Premium with all updates installed, I hear the message "no update available for" after Window-eyes 7.2 starts. I did not hear the message as long as I did not have the scripts set to never check for updates. I did not start hearing the "no update available for" message until I set the updated GW Micro scripts to check for updates on script start. Other than setting the scripts to never check for updates on script start, is there any other way to prevent this annoying message from coming up? If not, I'll be willing to put up with the message for however long it takes to solve the issue. I really don't feel like isolating scripts because I appreciate the scripts' ability to check for updates automatically. This is no complaint against GW Micro. I am pointing out what I consider to be an annoying quirk which I can deal with for now. I think that if the capability for scripts to be set to check for automatic updates should not trigger the message. Like one of our other list members pointed out, I love the sound Window-eyes makes when an updated script becomes available.
On the subject of scripts, does the help information for the updated script further explain the minor fixes? I am particularly interested in the hourly chime and Window-eyes sounds scripts. Thanks.
