Becky! I am investigating it as well. I don't know if you have any
replies to your message, the list configured so as to replies not
showing, but there are a couple messages I saved in case you've not
seen them about Becky.
Becky! Mail list helpful. This is an alternative to the help file that
comes with Becky! Instructions for using this file with Becky! are
included in the Zip file you need to download. -Steve.

I try to stay close to Becky! releases, but my update slipped a bit. If
interested, my latest supplemental help file is now available at
http://davidskirk.org/becky/
If you installed the latest Becky! version
2.56 then you already have a lot of what is in this file, but this new
file has several additional topics and features, since I try to stay
ahead of the official releases. This also includes information for
visually impaired users that Chris G submitted and I added some
information regarding the recent post on aliases. A list of major
changes is documented in the download.
This is kind of a hobby for me and it's my way of learning Becky!. I
now understand AND, OR and NOT for filtering and I finally learned how
to edit that darn Quick Memo... :) and other stuff... Seasoned gurus
will find nothing here, but my hope is to help other new or casual
users. David.
There is more.

Hello,
It does have passwords. They call it light security, It is in Tools,
general setup, then the general tab.
Here is a quote from the help file.
Light Security
Startup Password
Sets up the password you want to use to start the program.
This password security only prevents people to open your mailbox by
mistake. Do not
depend on this.
Need when restoring from minimized window
Makes password input mandatory when restoring the program from
minimized window.

Now, for his configuring instructions.
To configure Becky for use with Window-eyes do the following:
Go to the Tools menu and select "General Setup."
Then select the message view tab. Make sure the "operate four way
button by the cursor key option is unchecked.
The next item you would want to change is to remove the pointer. If
you fail to do this the first character of each line will be cut off.
1. Go to the tools menu and select General setup.
2. Select the editor tab.
3. Press ALT-Y to move to the "display line pointer" check box and uncheck it.
Here is a tip to display the CC and BCC fields in tab order.
1. Write a new message. 2. In the TO: field press CONTROL down arrow
once, this enables
the CC field. Press it again to enable the BCC field. If you decide
you use the CC
field but not the BCC field, just press CONTROL up arrow this will
remove the BCC
field from the tab order. To remove the CC field from the tab order
press CONTROL up arrow again.
The state of the CC and BCC fields in the tab order is saved between sessions.
I hope this may be what you need. I want to joing the beckymail list.
