Hi,
I started using Audacity a couple weeks ago. It is incredibly accessible and easy to learn and use, with exceptional documentation which includes a section on the very subject of accessibility with screen readers. Very unusual. My question is hard to express as a simple question so allow me to describe the scenario. When I first began using Audacity, I could do an ALT plus R plus S to stop recording or playback. And the echoes to my keystrokes and the execution of the command was as fast as I could type. Suddenly, without warning that I noticed, when I press the above mentioned keystrokes, nothing happens for about twenty seconds and the I hear alt r stop and the music stops. Any idea what might be going on? Sincerely, Donald E.
