Hello Jed, specifically Google Voice can be used, but you have to turn
off Browse mode and back on to refresh the new information. Some of the
areas which don't show up as links inside Browse mode are the settings
area which most people don't change all the time. However for placing a
call or writing texts back and forth, it works very well. Specifically
responding to a text, I press enter on the text button after the name of
the person I'm texting with, an edit box magically appears, I type my
text and press send. I now have to manually turn on Browse mode.

if you can get used to that, it works rather well. As others may have
said, there are other solutions such as the Qwitter Google Voice
support, which still has some ways to go since it's rather new, or if
you can Google Voice from your cell phone, maybe that's an option as well.
