Aloha, I believe that ati graphics control panel, Microsoft silverlight for netflix, other programs use it: so, I'd leave well enough alone, but I believe that version 3.5 requires earlier version, and you will be warned that it is needed.

Working my way through the list in add/remove, I notice that I have several versions of Microsoft .net framework. There is a couple of entries for version 2.0, some for 3.0, and even a couple for version 4. Is all of that necessary? OK, I might need .net framework for something, I guess. My question is, could it be necessary to have versions 2, 3 and 4, all installed at the same time? Or, can I remove everthing under version 4, without disturbing the functionality of any other stuff on the PC. And, tech guys, please tell what .net framework is good for at all. Thanks a bunch!
