It is not either.
You need to shut off the google option that is completing or giving you
suggestions of web sites. You also need to shut autoload with insert-a and
after you enter your search term say Christmas you then press the
alt-control-a and then turn autoload on and tab down until you hear the
search button and then press space bar.

Hi all this is a problem croping up more often with window-eyes on both the
laptop with windows 7 and the desktop with windows vista basic.
Especially in ie8 the voice will just freeze and stop talking when I'm doing
surveys visiting websites and even reading emails.
Now in firefox I try to write in to the search box and say the word is
Christmas
I will type chri
and the box closes or something and the complete word never gets entered.
Is a new security updagte disrupting window-eyes? or is it just a fluke with
the computers here at my house?
