When you call GW Micro, they will sell you a 64 bit version for $20.00.
Then you can use that CD to install WE 64 bit on to your lap top. If
your lap top does not have a CD drive, then you can copy the CD on to an
SD card or USB memory device.

One thing I have found with the install is that if you try to install it
with speech you may get an error. It might work better if you install
without speech and use Narrator or SA To Go for the speech.

Once you reboot, all works well.

Subject: installing window-eyes on a windows 7 laptop

Hi everyone. I just got a windows 7 laptop. It's an IBM thinkpad sl410
and
is a 64 bit and runs windows 7. Yesterday I spoke with someone at
gwmicro
and asked if window-eyes supports 64 bit and was told that as long as I
had
7.0 or higher that it would support the 64 bit system. The last cd that
I
have is a window-eyes 7.0 so I put that in the cd rom drive and it came
with
the following error message. This version of window-eyes does not
support
your operating system. I have window-eyes 7.2 on my windows xp sp3
desktop
which is about to be switched out for the laptop whenever we can get the
speech on it. So my question is, since the 7.0 cd isn't able to be
installed on the laptop, and I have the 7.2 upgrade download from the
grmicro web site is there a way to get the speech installed on the
laptop
without buying another license? The person who is helping me with this
will
call on Monday but if there's anything we can do or anything I can
forward
on to her let me know. Rebecca Ilniski
