you have to use the intel display hot keys to put the screen back upright
again. then disable the hot keys after it has been put right .
the problem is the intel display hot keys are the same keys that w e uses for
the on the fly change to the pitch, volume and speech rate.
control alt up,down, right and left arrow keys.

Subject: suggestions for fixing the screen?

I just acquired a new laptop today, and installed Window-Eyes on
it. The sighted person who helped me with this told me that the
screen had shifted ninety degrees so that everything looked
sideways. I spoke to some at GW Mico, who advised us to disable the
Windows hot keys. I am using Window-Eyes version 7.2, and Windows XP
service pack 3 with all the latest updates. I then thought that
since it was now installed, it would now be all right to turn the
Windows Hot keys back on. The sideways effect then came back. We
tried disabling the hot keys, but the screen still has the same
appearance. Any ideas would be appreciated.
