Russel,

it really sounds like something you've installed. I'd first look at your
anti-virus software, and try to disable it (it might be scanning web pages
before you can see them, and maybe it's doing something to show you that's
happening).

next, it might be an add-on in IE itself. you can go into IE, and choose
manage add-ons, and disable all of them one by one, and I'd try that.

Next, do you have any software installed whose named starts with Omni? I'd
see what it does and see if you can disable it if you have anything like
that.

hth,

Chip

Subject: we and ie8 question

Hi Folks,

Happy holidays to you all. I am using latest we and windows 7 32
bit operating system. Every time I click on a link in an email, or enter an
url in the run dialogue, I get this message that says pre-fetch, one frame,
omniture reports, end frame. I have to alt-tab back the the place I was
wnen I clicked and then back to the page before I can read anything. How
can I stop this behavior?

Thanks for any ideas.
