Hi everyone,

I have two IBM Laptops each of which have Windows XP with service pack 3. I'm also using Window-Eyes 7.2. I have been using a keyboard extension which plugs into a USB port. It has been working well until now. I've noticed that if I plug it into the old computer, it works fine. If I use the newer computer, I get either a number pad, or a situation where the keyboard gets the response of "top" and "numlock on".

Does anyone have any ideas. Additionally, I can't make it work like the mouse pointer works on the old computer. I know that the n, m, and comma keys, the j, k, and l, keys on the next row, andt the u, j, and i keys work like numbers under certain conditions. They're working normally as letter keys.

Any ideas?
