Hi!

I never use the laptop keyboard, use a standard keyboard plugged into the
USB port which is preferable...
What version of WE do you have and have you downloaded the most recent
patches?

Anyway, having an external keyboard is the best way even though it is a
laptop.

Subject: is the problem with Window-Eyes, or something else?

I'm noticing a situation on a new laptop I bought. Actually, it's
newer, not actually new.

When I use the keyboard extension now, I notice that if I turn
numlock off to use it, when i hit the button for top left, 7It says
"7". When I It's a nineteen-key keyboard. I also get a normal sound
when I plug it into a USB port, but it dings twice instead of once.

It seems to work all right on my old laptop.

When I use the laptop layout for Window-Eyes, that doesn't work right
either. I've tried removing Window-Eyes and re-installing it without
any change. Any ideas?
