okay, with my dealings and working with a cabel telephone and internet provider for my work experiance gr 12, using mixed modes b and n they are 2 different security levels, and speeds. this may be your main problem at first because the iphone is trying to trying to find the right speed and channel to run at. but iit is basically getting confused untill it finds the right one, but this may take a long while when running 2 different modem types. i would sugest you use either a b or an n, not both.. pick one, see if that works better for you

try changing channels. also before u start doing something that you
want wifi for just look at your status and make sure you are
connected.

Hi! I bought a new router and am having some issues. I am using
comcast if it matters. What is happening is my Iphone locks and when I
wake it it can take up to 30 seconds or so to connect and find my wi-
fi. With my old dsl set up this didn't happen. I am at a lost at why
this is happening, and it's annoying because I think i am on wi-fi and
I end up being on edge. Does anyone have any suggestions? For my wi-fi
I just turned manual and channel 1. I'm using WPA2, and mixed modes
using b g and n.
