Hi Rebecca,

You know, this seems like a place for a good little script!

I've been using outlook 2003 for years, and never have found a good solution
to this problem. WE reads to you exactly what's on the screen, but it
doesn't read anything more; and it's almost impossible to get all of the
subject line on the screen, as well as all of the other things we want such
as date and time of the message, who it's from, whether it's been read,
whether it has attachments, and so on. I mean, the line is only so big!

You can work your way through the elaborate view menus to the "customize
current view", and edit how many pixels each of the items on the line takes
up (or how many characters, the format of dates and times, etc.) fiddling
with these formats and lengths you can manage to get more of the subject
onto the line, but it's easy to chop off part of the from or some other
field.

do make sure your inbox window is maximized! I like the window manager
script from GW for doing this (making sure certain windows are maximized).

hth,

Chip

Subject: reading subject lines with outlook

Hi everyone. Im using we 7.2 and outlook 2007. When I go down the message
list, we doesn't read the whole subject lines of the messages. Is there a
way I can fix this?
