Looks like we have to check mark under Scheduled scan, check for the latest virus & spyware definitions...We also need to run a scheduled scan to have an option to run a automatic update.
You need to use the WE Mouse i.e. turn on numlock, insert + to read the virus definition before and after. There is silence during virus update here too. Everything seems to be going well, with the exception of the update process. There is no option, that I can find at least, within the program itself, to have it do automatic updates, as there was in AVG. However, occasionally while working in other programs, I will get an interruption from MSE with an update button. So I click on the button with either spacebar or the enter key, but I get no response from WE saying that the update has taken place. The progress indicator beep sound doesn't occur to tell you the progress of the updating, so I really don't know if the update has taken place or not. Any help from you good folks out there would be greatly appreciated.
