To off list interested Bookshare.org users:
I am needing to do some college research coming up in the coming
semester, so I need to use Bookshare.org aas we know NLS is woefully
void of high end research in most major topics. Mainly my research
revolves around political scien as I'm a political science major for
the future as I wasn't taught nemeth code at a former school that I
attended. I know of the RFB and D program but find them inadaquate in
grammatical or exact qoute material for my research with citations
will also be difficult. My equipment is only a netbook, personal
computer and a old brraille note m-power that I don't use much. The
daisy book reader seems to be the best option right? Well, everythime
in the past that I look at it that it speaks slow with the internal
voice speech synthesizer. I mean by no matter what speed that I put
the free Human Ware speech feature. There are brf files but I kjust
don't really enjoy using my M-Power and in fact want to send it back
to the purchaser to give some other use out of it cause I know that I
don't like it anymore. Thanks for any advice you cn give in this
regard as ressearching is diffficult being blind.
