The best solution I have found to this problem is to look at the view menu
from within outlook.

I have had best success with the view apparently named preview.

I have found Outlook's view menu clumsy to work with, and had to experiment
over a couple of hours to get what I wanted. From within a folder (not a
message) just hit alt-v and familiarise with the VFiew men and its options
for message display and sorting.

The Office 2010 set file has some information for best results with Outlook
and window-eyes. Ctrol-\ and then the Window-eyes file menu, and arrow to
the manage and set file and scripts pulldown. After pressing enter, arrow
up to the set file manager dialogue. It will diredct you to the specific
set files for Ms Office 2010, best got to by pressing "o" until 2010
details are highlighted. By tabbing across there are some notes about the
Outlook 2010 view and best settings for the conversation view. PROBABLY THE
MNOST IMPORTANT DETAIL IS OT ENSURE THAT Office set file is properly
installed, and this can be achieved from within the set file manager.

It might be helpful as part of the next release if GW update the Manual
chapter concerned with Working with Outlook to discuss the matter of message
views in v2010.

I used to have this problem, also. I found out that when you hit enter on
the folder, you are immediately put in the list of messages. When you press
tab, you move off the message list and onto something called 'To Do'. Try
just hitting enter and not pressing tab. then arrow up and down to see if
your in the message list.

If selecting a folder and press tab, the focus is wihtin the list of mails
