Hi!

I am not sure what your problem may be, but I am thinking it is going to a
web page and the brows mode is not sensing the page change.
I have noticed this also and in almost all cases you have to turn off and
on the brows mode by hitting the ctrl/alt a keys twice to get the page
refreshed. This is the only way I could fix that problem.

I also had an identical issue last fall and it would never refresh the page
without doing those keys. My only fix back then since I got the same answers,
was to actually reload Windows at an earlier date, or I mean, use the Acronis
software that restored the original installation of Windows prior to the
problem. My only conclusion on that was several layers of Office software was
loaded that conflicted at that time but never could prove it.

I also think, as other problems seem to arise, and that is, using keys too
fast the WE does not pick up the action. Which seems to be an issue to get
around Vista and Window 7 issues but not sure, can only assume.

For in JAWS it prevents you from using external voices, shuts them down,
including using Open Book for you can not even use that program at the same
time as JAWS, so you have to put JAWS to sleep to use it.

I am not getting carried away with this but either the Vista and Windows 7
kernel and the issues raised especially when Vista came out and destroyed most
programs, it would seem that WE is being to cautious and seems to have to wait
until the next permission, event flag comes along, before it can move on to the
next action.

Is this what is really going on here when most issues seem to be a delay in
WE responses to Vista and Windows 7 actions? For it would seem JAWS went so far
as to even disable other things such as Open Book...

        Bruce

Subject: WE saying only Top Bottom

I have gotten numerous responses that others are having the problem with
WE randomly only saying Top and Bottom after trying to go to a web page.
GW indicated to me that they could not duplicate this problem.
In my humble opinion it is time after three years of waiting for GW to
give its loyal users an update as to the rewrite of browse mode and what
we might expect for how it will improve how WE works when browsing the
net.
Don't bother with telling me you don't want it released before its time
I am not asking for that but surely GW can provide us with some update
as to progress and maybe problems they have solved so far with their
efforts in repairing a three year old broken browse mode. For me web
browsing is a very important feature of WE.
