Hi Brenda,

In Word 2003, press Control-F. After the find dialog is open, Tab until you
get to the More button and press Enter. This will make more options
available to you. You can Tab through the various options, and one of them
is a Format button. Pressing Enter on this button will reveal a list that
you can use your Up or Down Arrow keys to navigate. Arrow to Font, and
press Enter. This is just like the font dialog box. Tab around the dialog
and set your options to whatever you are looking for, such as underlined
text, the color of the text, etc. Press Enter on the OK button. Leave the
find edit box blank, press Enter, and Word should find any text with those
attributes.

This will also work in Word 2007, but if you are using Word 2010, then you
need to use the Advanced Find feature in the Home tab. If you can educate
the creator of the document to use Track Changes as well as Comments, this
would make your life even easier.

HTH,

Jeremy

Subject: Searching for attributes only in Word 2003

I need to search for text in red, underlined text and sometimes bolded text.
I have format alert and attribute changes set to ON, BUT I must review a
document line by line in order to find the corrections to my work. I tried
a CNTRL-SHIFT-F Window Eyes search but you have to search for a specific
word using that function. I also have Chip's MS Word script running (I
think).

How can I search for any text that is red, bold or underlined or any single
attribute in order to quickly find corrected work?

Thanks
Brenda
