Hi All

I'm trying to find a realtime chat client that I can use to interact with my fellow masters students as the university's system is not accessible. I also need to be able to suggest a collaborative editing environment as we have to write a publication as a group.

I've looked at MIRC and it seems to be pretty accessible except that I have to use Window-Eyes keystrokes to read what other people are writing and I get no notice of when someone has written something. WE seems to have set files for an earlier version of Mirc so does anyone know of anything that will help with the current version, 7.5 I think.

As for collaborative editing, I'm hearing names like Google docs, Huddle, and basecamp. Does anyone have comments about the accessibility of these products, or is there a better product we can use to share our thoughts, edit documents and track the changes that are being made?

Thanks for any help
