Dave: I have not noticed this problem, but I do know that there is good advice
concerning configuration of the Braille display in section 18 of the
Window-Eyes manual. Cursor behaviour is affected by translation and whole word
options, which are discussed in the manual.

Best of luck.

Vaughan.

Subject: braille display cursor behavior

Hello list,

I have a question regarding window-eyes and braille displays.
If you use a braille display, have you noticed the behavior where window-eyes
will only allow the cursor to be placed at the beginning of a word, even when
you right arrow and spell the word out character by character? It would be nice
if the cursor followed the progress of the letters being spelled, wouldn't it?
I don't know if there's something I'm missing. I'm getting my alva bc640 on
Friday and was using an 80 cell display in the technology lab and have also
used my braillenote as a display. All have exhibited the same behavior. Is
there a setting that I am unaware of? As always, any help or info is greatly
appreciated.
