Also, to make unzipping the file easier to whatever player you are using, the Transfer tool/software that is available for that player like the Victor Stream has the Humanware Companion, the book Sense has its own transfer software that installs on the desktop, and the Bookport Plus has software likewise. These software are all free from the Manufacturer and when used to unzip an NLS file it will unzip the files for you automatically to either the hardware or the SD card. Hope this further answers your question about unzipping the file.
_____ From: Ted Larson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, January 15, 2011 1:59 PM To: [email protected] Subject: 2 Questions Concerning NLS Unzipping Dear List: I am using Windows XP with Internet Explorer. At the point of the unzipping process of NLS books that I am downloading, where I hit the Application key to bring up the context menu and down arrow to the Extract All button and enter the extraction wizzard. First, how can I tell which program is doing the unzipping? Second, I can download the books with or without entering the password in the extraction wizzard. Is there a good reason to enter the password? Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
