Hi Dave, I use Becky! and really like it. I like the fact that the spell-checker in the program works well without any set files or scripts. I also like the way Becky! can be enhanced through the use of plug-ins. There is also a very helpful Becky! list on Yahoogroups for all users of Becky! and there are some blind people on this list. One slightly negative thing about Becky! is that it doesn't have any features for dealing with spam but I don't get that much spam so that isn't really a problem for me. I hope this helps.
