You and Netbat got it right. I am not sure how I did it, but I had
turned autoload off. All is fine now.
Thanks,
Chris

Is it possible that you have accidentally turned Auto-Load off?
When Browse mode is on, hit INSERT-A and see if that solves the problem.

Subject: sudden Browse mode issues
I was cleaning out my Gmail folders today when out of the blue the
Gmail page stopped returning to browse mode after refreshing when a
button or link is clicked. The pages refresh, but browse mode remains
off and must be manually reentered. On top of this, it seems now that
if I open a link in a new window from any page, not just gmail, the
new page opens with browse mode off. I have tried to save the set
file with browse mode turned on, but it doesn't seem to change
anything. I am using the latest version of WE and the latest official
release of Firefox, version 3.6.13. I found that there was an update
to the Firefox enhance script and updated it just in case, but this
did not help. Anyone else have anything like this occur? Any idea how
to fix this?
Thanks,
Chris
