hello,
I just purchased window-eyes for one big reason. I own Jaws and get tired of having to get another authorization key every time I change a piece of hardware in my computer. this happened each time after i changed memory, a power supply, and believe it or not a ups. At least with window-eyes I will not have to worry about this.

Hmm. I don't know. You know when I first bought window-eyes, GW sent out a quick refference manual in braille. Sounds like we need a new one out with this version! You know, I'm guilty, if I could aford to buy jaws, I'd consider buying it and going ahead and learning it.
But, not going to do that at this time.

this is better than the other interface. question is when in beginner mode, will it just say window-eyes or the associated set files like it does in advanced mode now?

After reading the first in the "Guess what" series for WE 7.5 I'm
really looking forward to the new interface. I think the new
interface will make WE easier to use and also cause WE to look more
like other Windows programs visually for a sighted person who might be
teaching people how to use WE. Also for those who remember or are
interested in historical trivia this new interface breaks the link
with the old interface that was based on Vocal-Eyes! But I think it's time for this change.
