hi, you can't reclass standard controls. so if this is a standard list view it can't be reclassed. the other controls could be reclassed because they were not standard controls. the set file has nothing to do with reclassed controls this information is stored in the we files. also there is nothing you can do about not being able to reclass a standard control because if you could you would only cause major problems. this problem would better be addressed buy a script for this program. hth

In one of my software, the information is presented on the screen, in a window that WE reports as ListView - a standard list. Thing is, I wanted to reclass this field, since it makes WE behave strangely for that particular window, and its content. I tried using the Insert-R command, to do my reclassing, and was told by WE, that a standard listview cannot be reclassed. Hmmm! Any explanation on why other controls can be reclassed (far as I can see, ANY other controls can be), only not the listview one? And, if I go the long path around the bush, and convert my application specific setfile into txt, is there a workaround so as to have my reclassing done? Any ideas is welcome, thanks!
