hi,
open the window-eyes program with control back slash.
now open the file menu with alt+f.
now open the select synthesizer dialog with the letter by.
now press alt+r to move to the sound card option. select the card you want to use and press enter. now window-eyes will send your software speech output to the selected card tell such time as you change it. here is an idea I think we need an option to send window-eyes sounds to other devices as well. this way I can have my synthesizer use one card and my sounds use the other make them the same if I like or just use the default card for both. also it would be nice if window-eyes sounds did not interrupt one another. for example I have the progress bars script and the second glass script installed. progress bar sound should interrupt one another that is the whole point but second glass should not interrupt progress bars. both sounds should be played together.
hth

Subject: A WINDOW-EYES QUESTION

Hi Everyone:

I need to hear Window-Eyes via my headset which has a USB interface. How can I set Window-Eyes use this as default instead of my desktop speakers? Hope I asked that question correctly, many thanks!!

Sincerely,
Olusegun
