Window-Eyes 7.5 Beta 1 Comments and Questions

The new user interface (Control Panel) for WE should make it much easier for
newcomers to WE to get up to speed, and old-timers, like myself, will benefit
as well - I could never figure out the Global verbosity stuff and hence never
used those features. Please point out in the manual, or elsewhere, that the
2-panel design mimics that of the Office button layout in Office 2007 Word and
that of the Backstage View in Office 2010 - so there's more consistency with
Microsoft applications and hence less to learn and remember.

Does the new control panel always remain open? That is, when I use Alt + Tab to
move off the active program and cycle through my active programs, I land on the
active program set file - without the necessity of using Ctrl + \?

The 4th Guess What article mentions Visual Studio 2010, what is it and why
should us users care? What apps built with it are available for use?

Better yet, please give a list of the programs currently using UIA. Does all
the programs in Office 2010 use UIA - Excel 2010, Word 2010, Outlook 2010,
PowerPoint 2010, etc.?

Word 2010 was mentioned and how faster reading of tables of contents would be.
Does WE 7.5 and UIA now support "content controls" used in Word Headers and
Footers? Does Math Zones now work in Word 2010 so college students can do real
math?

Guess What articles mention that Windows Live Mail and Windows Live Messenger
use UIA. What about the rest of the free Windows Live Essentials?

What 2011 programs from Microsoft (and others) may we expect to employ UIA?

Thanks for the great work as always, Peter Duran
