I had a similar problem after making some changes, though in my case, after
changing it from never to always, it stuck. I wasn't trying to install the
program, just working the settings to learn and practice.

Subject: Start up Options problem
Hello Everyone
I am using Xp Pro with Window-eyes 7.5.
Earlier this evening I was trying to install WE on a key drive as
Window-eyes mobile. The CD ran but Dug's silky tones were no where to be
heard. I continued listening to Read for instructions. When I had
finished, I rebooted and found the following problem.
Window-eyes no longer runs at the login screen. In fact, Window-eyes
did not run at all. I had to use control alt W to run the program. I
went to the Window-eyes control panel, down to General and then to Start
up Options. The check box for running windows after login, had been
changed to "never". I have changed it back to global three times but
every time I boot, it changes back to "Never".
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
With thanks
Mike.
